Multi-label microscopy without cross-talk from overlapping labels or autofluorescence
Fluorescence microscopy is a critical tool for academic and pharmaceutical research, pathology, and clinical medicine. However, there is an ever increasing need for multiplexed fluorescent marker studies, as the complexity of the biological questions being asked grows. Until now, there have been no practical, fast, or economical means to assess multiple protein and pathway configurations in tissue sections, on a cell-by-cell basis. Our Nuance system enables quantitative multiplexing of multiple fluorescent molecular markers in intact tissue sections at an affordable price and in a high-throughput format. Our Nuance EX and Nuance FX systems can also effectively eliminate the confounding effects of autofluorescence, revealing otherwise invisible molecular targets, and improving contrast and quantitation accuracy.
