Wavelength Tuning for Exquisite Color with Grayscale Cameras
Micro*Color™ sliders and optical coupler-mounted RGB filters with Liquid Crystal technology bring precise, quantitative color to microscopy. Macro*Color™ RGB filters offer a large aperture for custom OEM applications. These filters capture exact color information at every pixel by taking each red, green, and blue color plane in sequence and in perfect registration - no spatial interpolation necessary. This enhances resolution compared to ordinary "painted-pixel" CCD cameras, and also avoids the color shading inherent in three-CCD designs as well as the complexity of pixel-shift systems.

In addition, Quantitative Imaging (QImaging™) incorporates Micro*Color filters into compact accessory modules that are attached directly to their industry-leading cameras.
