CRi (now part of Caliper Life Sciences) offers a complete portfolio of whole-slide scanners from desktop to high-volume lab. All models except the DESK can be configured for both brightfield and fluorescence on the same instrument! Speed and image quality are second to none. Bundled software provides image analysis and scoring, in addition to image-sharing online and image-management. Images can be further analyzed with Caliper's inForm advanced image analysis software.

Every scanner comes with Viewer, Database & Archiving software, as well as one image analysis software package of your choice:

  • HistoQuant: general-purpose, brightfield and fluorescence image analysis software
  • NuclearQuant: automatically scores your ER, PR and Ki-67 digital slides
  • MembraneQuant: automatic evaluation of HER-2 and EGFR samples
  • FISHQuant: automatic classification of FISH nuclei to normal, abnormal and artifact groups

You can purchase additional modules beyond the first. inForm™, our very well-regarded advanced image analysis software program, is also available as an option.



We also offer two full-featured, convenient options for sharing your images with your colleagues around the world: The new CaseCenter allows you to consult with your colleagues, either synchronized online or offline as requester/consultant with annotation available for each party's convenience. Pathonet.org is a free web portal that gives you access to your colleagues around the world. Registration and a nominal amount of online storage is free.
